I was driving to work yesterday when I saw a group of girls who were obviously in Jr. High (maybe incomming HS Freshmen).

They were, ofcourse, walking to the bus stop. Let me rephrase, they were prancing, no… strutting to the bus stop.

They were dressed in these tiny little short shorts, tank tops and UGGS! Now I love Uggs during the fall and winter… but may I remind you that this is Los Angeles, the land of 80 degrees in the SUMMER MORNINGS.

It was funny, I laughed out loud, in my car, with the AC Blasting, with my cute Steve Madden platforms and adorable clothes from Bebe and Express.

To be that young, naive, and think that the world is staring at how amazing you are - because the world revolves around you.

I kinda miss it. But then I took a second look at them and I laughed again. So maybe I dont. Their fantasy is more my reality.

The Hula Hoop

Is one of man’s greatest inventions. Maybe a woman - saw the wheel and figured there has to be other uses for that round thing until someone invents an engine.

This little plastic thing is not just a fun toy you can use to make drunk friends look even more stupid, it can shape you, and can make you drop pounds if you do it while walking. Not to mention if done in sexy lingerie can drive your partner crazy!

The best one would be the weighted kind and if you’re a hoop newbie then I recommend getting the larger/wider/greater circumference ones - that way you can slow the pace as the smaller ones make you hoop like a speed freak.

There are many techniques to hula hoop, my favorite being the mild forward/back sway (you don’t need to rotate your hips like Elvis - unless you want to).

PROS:
+ Its easy
+ Its fun
+ Good for the body (especially the waist, obliques, and abs)
+ If done right, you can look SEXY doing it.

CONS:
- Might need practice for some (expect to drop it the first few times)
- Doesn’t work out your arms (unless you hula hoop with your arms?)
- Hard to find the perfect design (some of them are just bleh!)

Add some ketchup.

There is a stigma with SPAM. Thanks to all the crazy urban legends and what not.

Do you ever have so much stuff to do that you become so overwhelmed that you just want to shut down, but you know in doing so it will just totally screw you over in the end?

I hate that feeling.

But I keep on truckin… Its always worth it in the end.

When a commercial is genius… it shows. This one is just jaw dropping and actually gets the message across!

The visuals are captivating, and the details of the little soldiers and how they go about their mission is superb. There is no need for any dialog as the visuals clearly convey the message.

The ad and the campaign may be a few years old but it still works. When a commercial is as great as this, it becomes timeless.

Money well spent Adidas.
